To someone new to the religion it can turn them off because the way you sound.. When the Prophet SAW correct ppl im sure his tone was easier and his message was more received..

And respectfully some do the worst of men are the ones just speaking hellfire down to women about this instead of stepping in their shoes, speaking kindly and compassionately about it and making a beautiful inspiring call to action instead of rubbing their noses in the dirt about it. Speaking as a niqabi myself here. I have niqabi friends through people who do not even wear a headscarf (but they do dress modestly more so than many “hijabis” I see). There are maaaaaany reasons women struggle with this and brow beating will NEVER help her change her heart about it. Think about anything your wife/sister/mother struggles with. They need their emotions held, their mind heard, their heart and struggles understood. You being a kind, compassionate, listening and understanding and patience while gently encouraging man in her life is the best chance you’ll ever have of actually winning her over ❤
